Board of Adjustment Clerk – Rindge, NH
(Part-time position/ 10-15 hours per month)
The Town of Rindge is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Board of Adjustment Clerk. The ideal candidate will possess strong secretarial, interpersonal, organizational and computer skills. The position is responsible for posting notifications of all public meetings and sending out Public Hearing notices to applicants and abutters by certified mail. Other duties include attending, recording and preparing meeting minutes for all Public Hearings and Meetings, receiving and holding submitted applications so that appeal information can be reviewed for accuracy and completion, mails monthly case information to Board of Adjustment members prior to meetings, transcribing designated board business as directed by the board, mailing draft meeting minutes to Board members for consideration prior to meetings, sending Notice of Decision notices to applicants by certified mail and registering decisions with County Registry of Deeds and posting information, tracking and reporting Board of Adjustment members hours to payroll on a monthly basis.
Prior municipal experience preferred. Pay commensurate with experience.
