Schoolhouse Park Tour

Event Date:
Sunday, October 17, 2021 - 1:30pm to 2:30pm

Enjoy a crisp fall afternoon and colorful leaves while hiking with the Rindge Conservation Commission on Sunday, October 17th at Schoolhouse Park. The family-friendly 1-hour hike will follow a wooded trail to Tarbell Brook and continue along its wetlands and through forest habitat. The hike begins at 1:30 p.m. from the parking area on Abel Road (turn south from NH-119 across from Pearly Pond). The hike is open to everyone and held rain or shine.

The event is free, however in recognition of World Food Day, donations to the Rindge Food Pantry will be collected before the hike. Over 10% of the children in our community face food insecurity every day. Attendees are asked to bring canned and non-perishable food items.

Events are held rain or shine, but not during extreme weather. If Rindge is under a severe weather warning, please check the Town of Rindge website (www.rindgenh.org). A cancellation notice will be posted prior to the event if outdoor activities are unsafe.

We hope you will come and enjoy a pleasant afternoon.
