Land Use Coordinator

The Town of Rindge is seeking qualified applicants to fill the role of Land Use Coordinator.

The Land Use Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the planning and zoning processes of the Town. The Individual provides administrative and technical support, as required and directed by the Board of Selectmen. The individual shall be able to analyze and interpret the Town’s planning and zoning regulations and procedures and monitor the design and implementation of various community projects, zoning enforcement issues, and public health.

The position will serve as the Town’s primary contact with the general public concerning all land use matters, including but not limited to written and verbal correspondence, record keeping, and preparation. The qualified applicant will work directly with the public and other state and municipal employees.

The successful candidate for this position should have a Bachelor’s Degree and three to five years of experience in the same or a related field. Prior municipal land use experience is preferred, but not required. The full-time position has a competitive salary and excellent benefits including health and dental insurance, vacation time, and retirement. Starting pay is incumbent upon qualifications and experience.
