The Town of Rindge is seeking a part-time Assessing Clerk. Please see the job description below:
Rindge Assessing Clerk:
Tasks: Maintain Avitar CAMA system (property transfers, address changes, etc.)
Answer taxpayer questions re: assessments
Qualify property sales in Vision (for Equalization ratio)
Prepare requested data reports (fee paid)
Update Equalization data for DRA (weekly)
Process Current Use applications
Maintain Veterans Credit records, process applications
Maintain Elderly/Handicap exemption records, process applications
Process Elderly/Disabled Tax Deferrals (occasionally)
Input pick-up data for Assessing company
Complete MS-1 for DRA (annually)
Prepare Tax Warrant
Calculate Land Use Change Taxes, report
Invoice & Collect Sign fees
Process Timber tax filings, reports
Process Excavation filings, reports
Process A-9s & A-12s annually
Coordinates abatement applications
BTLA/Superior court hearings preparation
Update Tax Maps
Forms: A-9
A-12
PA-29
PA-34
Timber Tax: PA7, PA-8, Warrant
Excavation Tax: PA-38, PA-39
