Tetreault Park Walking TourPosted Jul 03, 2018
Meeting Held On: 07-15-2018
The Rindge Conservation Commission will conduct a walking tour of the Tetreault Park Conservation area on Sunday, July 15 at 1:30 p.m. This is a second in a series of tours of Rindge’s conservation lands.
Tetreault Park is a 37 acre parcel of land abutting the Town Forest and includes a log cabin, extensive walking trails, tent platforms, a meadow and uplands. When it was purchased from the Tetreault family around 2005, it was largely undeveloped. The Conservation Commission realized it importance in linking lands with the Town Forest. The forest has extensive trails for walking and horseback riding.
Doreen Richards will conduct a walking tour of the property and explain various natural areas and items of interest. Bring a bottle of water and meet at entrance area on Rand Road about ¾ of a mile off Route 202 on the left side of the road. Watch for mailbox #125 and the park is right after that. The hour long walk will take place in rain or shine.
