Restrictions
- Anyone receiving APTD (Aid to the Permanently and Totally Disabled) or OAA (Old Age Assistance) is not eligible for town assistance per state law.
- If at your appointment, you are suspected to be under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances, you will be required to reschedule your appointment.
- If you have a mortgage, a lien will be placed on your property, repayable at sale of property.
- If at your appointment, you are suspected of abusing alcohol, illegal substances or medications, you will be required to leave the office and reschedule your appointment, and may be mandated to see treatment before further assistance is granted.
- If you do not live in Rindge, you must apply to the Welfare Department in the town or city you reside in.
