Abatement applications submitted prior to the issuance of July tax bills remain under review.
Please be advised that the Town maintains until July 1st to render decisions on abatement requests. Should you wish to proceed, you retain the right to appeal to the Board of Tax and Land Appeals (BTLA) or Superior Court at this juncture.
Regardless of any appeal filed, the Town reserves the authority to grant or deny pending abatement applications. Any approved abatements resulting in adjusted property assessments will be applied and reflected in the December tax bill.
