Sale of Surplus Vehicle

The Town of Rindge, through the Fire Department, is accepting sealed bids for the sale of the following surplus vehicle:

Vehicle Information:

• Year: 1985
• Make: International
• Model: 11,848.7 miles
• Condition: Used
• Pump: Damaged and non-functional
• Sold As-Is, Where-Is

The Vehicle is being offered in its current condition with no warranties or guarantees, either expressed or implied, as to its condition, operability, or fitness for any particular purpose. Prospective bidders are encouraged to inspect the vehicle prior to submitting a bid.

The vehicle may be inspected by appointment at the RIndge Fire Department. To schedule an inspection, please contact:

Starting Bid Amount:

$3,000.00

Bid Submission:

Sealed bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked "SEALED BID - 1985 INTERNATIONAL S1800 HOSE REEL TRUCK"

Bids shall include:

• Bidder's name
• Mailing adddress
• Telephone number
• Email address (if applicable)
• Total bid amount
• Signature of bidder

Bid Deadline:

Sealed bids must be received no later than July 22nd, 2026, at 1700. Late bids will not be accepted.

Award:

The vehicle will be awarded to the highest responsible bidder. Payment shall be made by certified check, cashier's check, or other form acceptable to the Town prior to the removal of the vehicle. 

The successful bidder must remove the vehicle within 10 business days of notification unless other arrangements have been approved by the Town. The Town of Rindge reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive minor informalities, and accept the bid determined to be in the best interest of the Town.
